This direct burial Cat5e outdoor waterproof Ethernet cable is UV resistant and specially designed for outdoor applications. The individual conductors are 24 AWG solid annealed bare copper with a high density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation and a low density polyethylene (LDPE) jacket, which consists of a UV resistance compound to protect the cable from disintegrating in sunlight.
